Kilcor Construction completed a comprehensive transformation of the new Airgas facility, located in Tucker, Georgia. Project highlights included a wide range of building improvements to modernize the property to support its demanding operations in the warehouse, office, and manufacturing. We renovated existing office space, provided exterior improvements, new concrete and masonry, structural and miscellaneous metals, millwork, storefront doors and windows, and extensive interior finishes including new office layout, drywall, paint, acoustical systems, and flooring. Kilcor also upgraded critical building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm and data cabling, while managing all permitting, supervision, and coordination. A major component of the work included improvements to the facility’s medical and industrial gas operations. Airgas and Kilcor teams worked together to facilitate the installation of bulk storage tanks and associated infrastructure. Additional enhancements included new dock doors with structural support, mechanical ventilation capabilities to improve warehouse functionality and efficiency, separation of the building to include storage and high hazard area. From the building envelope to interior finishes and specialized industrial infrastructure, Kilcor delivered a fully upgraded facility that is safer, more functional, efficient, and better equipped to support Airgas’s combined gas fill operations.
