Gary Wax
Division Leader, Special Projects
Gary Wax is a Division Leader at Kilcor Construction with more than three decades of experience in construction leadership, project management, and business development. He began his career in 1990 with Kajima International, Inc., where he worked on high tech and industrial projects across South Carolina, Mississippi, and Tennessee. During this time, he managed the Midsouth and Carolinas regional offices before transitioning into a business development role in 2001.
In 2003, Gary joined Commerce Construction, where he worked on large scale industrial projects throughout Georgia and Florida and managed the Georgia regional office. In this role, he provided design and construction services for major industrial clients, including Majestic Realty Co. He joined Kilcor Construction in 2022 and founded the Special Projects Division, helping expand the company’s capabilities and market presence.
Gary’s expertise includes land development, construction project management, and building high performing teams to successfully execute complex projects. His achievements include launching regional offices in Memphis, Greenville, South Carolina, and Atlanta. He is LEED accredited and holds professional licenses in Georgia and Florida. Notable projects include the UPS Smart Hub in Atlanta, a $120 million development.
Outside of work, Gary enjoys saltwater fishing, attending sporting events, playing tennis and pickleball, and spending time listening to music.
